Title: Bridge strike near Kemble - 28 Oct 2008 Post by: Chris from Nailsea on October 28, 2008, 22:27:11 "The A433 between Cirencester and Tetbury in Gloucestershire had to be closed to traffic after a heavy goods vehicle hit a railway bridge. The lorry struck the Thames Head bridge just after 1100 GMT on Tuesday. The lorry driver was not injured, although trains were stopped while engineers assessed the damage. A spokesman for First Great Western (FGW) Trains said the bridge was fine and trains would resume running normally."
