Title: Its Official - Cheapest Travel is by car
Post by: martyjon on July 18, 2007, 07:03:12
Heard on BBC Radio 4 this am (18/07/2007) that a report, reported on in The Independent, says that with the increase in rail and bus fares, up over 50% in both cases, it is now cheaper to travel by car, down 10% in the compariable period.

Cue for a new film in the Carry On series, CARRY ON POLLUTING.

Perhaps some kindly forum member with more time on their hands than me could ferret out and post a link to the article on this forum.

Your wish is my command , although I wish that I had more time on my hands today!
