Title: Steam train at Acton Main Line this morning (9/7/2009)
Post by: James Vertigan on July 09, 2009, 08:04:16
Hi all,

Posting this here because it involves a station on the Greenford branch, but please feel free to move it if it is more suitable elsewhere.

Was at Acton Main line this morning waiting for 6:08 train to Paddington when I spotted a steam train over in the yard/sidings area at Acton Main Line.

Was just wondering which one it was and why it was there today? Seemed to be of a dark green colour but I couldn't make out the name of it. Was a nice surprise to see it this morning belching out steam!

Yep, deffo looks like this was the one and the times on the website seem to co-ordinate with when I saw it at AML.

Thanks very much!
