Title: Moreton-in-Marsh Show
Post by: willc on August 25, 2009, 15:35:13
This takes place on Saturday, September 5, and is an ideal excuse for a jaunt by train on the Cotswold Line to see all our lovely new realigned and renewed track and repositioned signals and spot those double rails poking out of Chipping Campden tunnel.

Even better, if you hold rail tickets, you avoid the traffic jams in Moreton and get cut-price show admission by showing your tickets at Moreton station on arrival (between 8am and 2.15pm). There is free car parking at Charlbury, Kingham and Evesham stations all day to encourage park-and-ride custom and the showground is a few minutes' walk from the station. See http://www.moretonshow.co.uk/directions.php for more info

And they could do with a bit of extra support after being washed out by a torrential downpour the day before last year's show.
