Title: Travel by train, American Style
Post by: grahame on August 21, 2007, 20:04:57
I'm just back from the USA .. been travelling on Amtak - the North East Corridor, and I've written up something of my journey to and from on the New York to Washington DC section - somewhat akin, I suppose, to London to Bristol.

You may enjoy / wish to comment on some of the similarities / differences.

The post ended up WAY longer that I expected ... and I only got halfway through my American Railway Adventure there.   I've already done another piece too about one of the interesting folks we met on the train - see

and I may (time allowing) carry on with some further comments too.
