A useful summary of three ticket types - I would encourage those of you with time / inclination to read the Insider's column.  I still wonder, though, why I am told of no less that 27 different single adult fares (some listed but not offered) from Paddington to Melksham when I ask on Trainline.

Perhaps someone could justify 27 different fares on a frequent service run by multiple operators.  Paddington to Melksham runs twice a day - 17:30 and 17:33, arriving 19:08 and 19:50 (I kid you not!)
