Is it a HST with FC?

In which case I may be interested!

Or even a steam train with decent seating!

Is it a HST with FC?

Yes, and yes - but no, all First Class seats are already sold out.

See http://www.clpg.co.uk/spectrns.htm for full details.

If you fancy a trip to the seaside on a steam excursion, the Torbay Express is running every Sunday from now until the end of September, starting at Temple Meads and running to/from Kingswear for Dartmouth. Outward journey picks up/return sets down at Weston-super-Mare as well. Website with full info is here (http://www.torbayexpress.co.uk) although it's a bit irritatingly over-fancy and takes some navigating.

Very last chance to travel on this train. As of yesterday, there were just eight seats are left in standard class of 330 made available. The 100 offered for sale in first class were allocated by drawing of lots, such was the demand.

A slice of the proceeds. along with ^2,000 raised from last year's HST to Paignton will be allocated to a station enhancement fund which the CLPG will put towards helping provide better than basic facilities on the new platforms at Charlbury, Ascott and Honeybourne

There is now a gallery of pictures of the train at the CLPG website at http://www.clpg.co.uk/eventsCotswold-Quantock%20Express.htm

^2,000 from the proceeds will be put into the CLPG station enhancements fund for the new station platforms, taking the total so far past ^5,600 (^4,000 in total from this excursion and last year's to Torbay), plus ^1,600 donated so far.
