Title: Two real trains in One day. Post by: smokey on September 17, 2010, 18:40:47 Was at Penzance today 17th Sept 10, and heard rumours of a Loco Hauled Train.
Not sure what was on but the 10.00 Penzance-Padd HST was 9+2 with an extra Standard class carriage, then there WAS an Additional departure at 10.21 which was the Sleeper Loco from last night's Down Sleeper, pulling 5 Sleeper Day Cars. Not Sure where that train was heading but I did see it along the Sea wall of Mount's Bay, and the train was carrying Passengers. The other Real train will be tonight's Up Sleeper. Post by: Nibat on September 17, 2010, 19:08:02 Apparently a group booking of 200+ people at Bodmin, the second train was a relief of the other one and was meant to terminate at Plymouth. Only 16 late through Dawlish, considering it's always at least 5 to 10 min late!!
