This mornings 0845 Pad-Swa was already runnng on one engine only when it reached BPW this am. Left BPW but the remaing power car expired completely between Patchway and Pilning at circa 1020. The following 0915 Pad-Cdf was terminated at BPW and the unit was sent to rescue the errant HST. The errant HST was towed to BTM where it arrived and terminted at 1215.

Chaos on Pompey/Weymouth - Cardiffs as a consequence as there were mostly ATW crews in Bristol Tm at the time so no route
knowledge via Charfield.
