Just found this link which says that Crosscountry have agreed to stop more of their services at Chepstow/Lydney from may 2011: http://www.bettertrains4chepstow.co.uk/news.html This will be good especially for some of use railway enthusiasts who visit the dean forest railway at Lydney Junction. Hopefuly this will also make it easy for commutors traveling to Bristol if the trains stop at Severn tunnel junction and have decent connection times with trains to/from Bristol. He plans to meet councillors next week to discuss how to take the campaign forward. Five years of campaigning by the group kick-started the trial by Cross Country, and a spokesman from the rail company told the Free Press overall journeys have risen by six percent.
