Title: Two good train related TV programmes from the 'Top Gear' boys. Post by: JayMac on June 12, 2011, 21:30:01 Tonight on BBC2 (12th June 2011) there were two programmes presented by Richard Hammond and James May respectively. Both programmes featured trains in one guise or another.
Richard Hammond's Engineering Connections (http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b0121l52/Richard_Hammonds_Engineering_Connections_Series_3_Bullet_Train/) focused on the technology behind Japan's Shinkansen trains. James May's Toy Stories (http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b0120z75/James_Mays_Toy_Stories_The_Great_Train_Race/) saw another attempt to run OO Gauge trains between Barnstaple and Bideford.
