As FG is nominally responsible for both, it would be in their interest to integrate train and bus services at Temple Meads. Just as in main other cities, FG could offer a combined Bus/Train ticket for central Bristol. In essence, bus routes 8/9 would be free! Also, with the building of Cabot Circus, it is almost as close as the existing bus station. It also has better access by car! The opportunity of integrating bus and rail on one site for Bristol has probably been lost. FG and Bristol City Council are too blinkered to value the benefits of integrating Rail and Bus services at Temple Meads. It is reasonably central as well, you can get to most places in the city centre within a 10 minute walk, particularly the shops, and if you need to go to the far end then there's a service every few minutes to Queen St.
