Title: MRDG Meeting - 2nd September Post by: grahame on August 27, 2011, 06:38:34 19:30, Melksham Town Hall. All our "usual suspects" will be in attendance, I'm sure, and newcomers welcome. MRDG looks after / out for the Melksham Specific issues - objective stated: "To promote Melksham Railway Station for benefit of Rail Users". To a great extent that's related to working for an improved service, but it's also about station tidyness, maintainance, integration, information and improvement. The platform's a short one, and the popularity of the Summer Sunday services coupled with the number of people travelling has lead to some longer-than-scheduled stops for loading and unloading over the past few weeks.
