Title: Cardiff to Bridgend today
Post by: LiskeardRich on October 04, 2011, 00:52:13
Was driving around in South Wales this afternoon and evening for some unknown reason, and on the TA reports my car was picking bbc wales travel reports. An incident that was repeated all afternoon, was the closure of a road and cancellations on the railway due to an accident on a level crossing, never stated if it involved just cars, or cars and a train, havent had chance to see any news to notice it being reported though. So not sure what the accident was.

St Georges level crossing.  Vehicle (think it was a van ) knocked off one of the barriers.  The crossing was one of the type with just a single barrier covering the whole road.
