Get your facts right Bristol Evening Post ::) To be fair Wessex refurbished some of the 158's which are heading north. I went on one with pink seats the other day which was in fairly good nick! Post by: vacman on November 12, 2007, 21:09:00 None of the unit's Wessex refurbed are going back, the ones wessex refurbed are 158 747,748,749 and 751 all of which are staying, infact, 749 is in Doncaster being refurbed for FGW as we speak!

That is correct alphaline = ex-Wessex 158s. FGW are keeping all the ex-TPX units that came down this way last year and one by one are going into Wabtec for Refurb. Currently, some of the sets FGW have belong to Angel and some to Porterbrook and have different engines. The plan is for FGW to have one fleet, one engine, owned by one ROSCO.
