Quite apart from the loss of the useful "A to Z"s - two other questions occur to me-

1 - Why are they using a cartoon Stephen Fry in this campaign?

He's the patron of a relevant charity:

Just checked today’s list and just two units are restricted to diesel out of the entire 800 and 802 fleet.  They are 800313 and 800320.

Just to say that last Saturday I travelled on 800320 on the 1226 from Cardiff (started at Swansea) as far as Swindon and I'm practically certain that it ran on electric power from Bristol Parkway onwards.

What is that weird object on the platform level with the front of the train?

I took it to be a species of refreshment trolley (for use on platforms).

Correct Merthyr Imp! Your forum name suggests a proximity to the BMR.

What a cracking little railway. Unusual rolling stock and fantastic scenery.

It's actually a few years since I last visited it, but I think that photo was taken near Dolygaer at the point where the BMR deviates slightly from the original formation so as to avoid a sailing club or some such.

The fascination to me is seeing how it fits into the former Brecon & Merthyr infrastructure and viewing what remains of that and its connections, especially at the Pant end and at Pontsticill. E.g. this view of the old Pant station which I took about seven years ago.
