17:38 Moreton-In-Marsh to London Paddington due 19:03
17:38 Moreton-in-Marsh to London Paddington due 19:03 will be started from Oxford.
It will no longer call at Moreton-in-Marsh.
This is due to a broken down train.

Because 1W32 15:50 PAD» (Paddington (London) - next trains) MIM terminated at Oxford. For the third day in succession. This service's profile on OnTimeTrains is abysmal:

https://www.ontimetrains.co.uk/journeys/PAD/MIM/15:50/17:26/GW;dayOfWeekRange=Weekdays;dateRange=12W

Presumably the 'broken down train' referred to above isn't the HST (High Speed Train) on this service since the return (from Oxford) is still slated to run?

04:47 Hereford to London Paddington due 07:52

04:47 Hereford to London Paddington due 07:52 has been cancelled.
This is due to a fault on this train.

Not sure if this was to have been an IET (Intercity Express Train) or HST (High Speed Train)
3  Journey by Journey / London to the Cotswolds / Re: Cotswold Line - 2018 cancellation and amendments log on: November 08, 2018, 13:10:45
I was on the 05:28 HFD» (Hereford - next trains):PAD» (Paddington (London) - next trains) - standing everywhere past Reading (and possibly past Oxford, though it was at Reading I saw the overflow. Seat reservations in the bin as well - didn't affect me, but irksome for pax who've got one then to find it's worth nowt.

12:09 Hereford to London Paddington due 15:27
12:09 Hereford to London Paddington due 15:27 was terminated at Evesham.
It will no longer call at Honeybourne, Moreton-in-Marsh, Kingham, Charlbury, Hanborough, Oxford, Reading, Slough and London Paddington.
It has been delayed at Worcester Shrub Hill and is now 38 minutes late.
This is due to a fault on this train.

HST (High Speed Train) – not sure what the fault is/was

19:42 Great Malvern to London Paddington due 22:29

19:42 Great Malvern to London Paddington due 22:29 will be cancelled.
This is due to a fault on this train.

Likely due to 16:22 1W33 PAD» (Paddington (London) - next trains):GMV giving up the ghost at Oxford:

This service was cancelled between Oxford and Great Malvern due to a problem with the train (M8).
6  Journey by Journey / London to the Cotswolds / Re: Cotswold Line - 2018 cancellation and amendments log on: October 16, 2018, 07:19:35
The 05:28 HFD» (Hereford - next trains):PAD» (Paddington (London) - next trains) started this morning from WOS» (Worcester Shrub Hill - next trains), and is currently around 20 minutes late and running direct from MIM to OXF» (Oxford - next trains) to try to make up some time. It's an HST (High Speed Train) rather than IET9.

19:42 Great Malvern to London Paddington due 22:31
19:42 Great Malvern to London Paddington due 22:31 will be cancelled.
This is due to a fault on this train.

The 16:22 PAD» (Paddington (London) - next trains):GMV (which I'm guessing forms the above) didn't make it beyond Reading:

This service was cancelled between Reading and Great Malvern due to a problem with the brakes (MN).

16:22 London Paddington to Great Malvern due 19:24 will be cancelled.
This is due to a safety inspection of the track.

Only minutes before departure time - train was at the platform at PAD» (Paddington (London) - next trains).
9  Journey by Journey / London to the Cotswolds / Re: Cotswold Line - 2018 cancellation and amendments log on: September 27, 2018, 13:20:35
I was on the 05:28, and remarkably it went from 15' late at M-in-M to 2' late at Paddington, pickup 12' by virtue of the 'express' run between M-in-M and Oxford.

13:55 Worcester Foregate Street to London Paddington due 16:27 will be started from Worcester Shrub Hill.
It will no longer call at Worcester Foregate Street.
This is due to damage to the overhead electric wires.
Last Updated:20/09/2018 12:36

I must have missed the electrification between Worcester's two stations …

On a more serious note: any idea what this relates to?
11  Journey by Journey / London to the Cotswolds / Re: Cotswold Line - 2018 cancellation and amendments log on: August 16, 2018, 16:57:58
Thanks! Yes, it's been my twice-weekly ride home for the last six months or so (though through choice not today, as luck would have it) and it's generally been spot on
12  Journey by Journey / London to the Cotswolds / Re: Cotswold Line - 2018 cancellation and amendments log on: August 16, 2018, 16:42:18
Not on JourneyCheck as at 16:00 but National Rail Enquiries has the 16:22 Paddington to Great Malvern showing as cancelled. @GWRHelp on Twitter says it's "not running because of a fault on board".

So that's another faulty IET (Intercity Express Train) cancellation on the Cotswold Line today.

RTT» (Real Time Trains - website) lists as "This service was cancelled throughout due to a mishap (MY)." Note sure what qualifies as 'a mishap' ...
13  Journey by Journey / London to the Cotswolds / Re: Cotswold Line - 2018 cancellation and amendments log on: August 16, 2018, 13:56:11
I was wondering that. I saw that the service was 35 minutes late leaving Hereford - could the diversion have been to avoid fouling up other services on the single-track sections of the line?
