This turns into 10:20 Penzance to London Paddington due 15:27 Facilities on the 10:20 Penzance to London Paddington due 15:27. This is due to more trains than usual needing repairs at the same time. Will be formed of 2 coaches instead of 9 to Plymouth. First class not available to Plymouth. There are no reservations on this service to Plymouth.
I am told by a couple of passengers that the 10:20 was in fact formed of a 5 car IET▸ . Looks like there was a set swap at Penzance with an incoming service from Bristol Temple Meads. The 5 car ran all the way to London with no change of train or attachment at Plymouth. As reported on other occasions this wasn't updated on Journeycheck.

Yesterday the Swindon Advertiser tried to put two and two together and make five. They confused lift problems at Didcot with engineering work! https://www.swindonadvertiser.co.uk/news/24048375.swindon-trains-cancelled-problems-didcot-parkway/Several Swindon train services have been cancelled after problems at a nearby station.
Trains from Swindon to Didcot Parkway have been cancelled throughout the morning and afternoon of Sunday after an issue at the latter station.
The lifts linking platforms to the subway at Didcot have failed.
Services to Reading and Oxford have been affected due to the cancelled links between Swindon and Didcot Parkway.
Both services usually go via Didcot Parkway but due to the problems, journey times will now be severely extended throughout Sunday.
Rail replacement buses have been scheduled for Swindonians to reach their affected destinations.
A spokesperson for Great Western Railway said: “The lifts are out of order between platforms 2, 3, 4 & 5 and the subway at Didcot Parkway station.”
It is not yet known when the problem will be resolved.
There had been a disruption between Didcot Parkway and Swindon on Saturday afternoon which lasted until 2.30pm.
The tracks were inspected and reopened but now due to the lifts issue, Swindonians will face another day of problems trying to travel to Didcot Parkway.

Somewhat late to the party is the Swindon Advertiser in an article which concentrates on Melksham but conveniently overlooks Swindon.... https://www.swindonadvertiser.co.uk/news/24046764.melksham-nominated-worst-places-live-uk/A councillor has hit back at a scathing review that landed a “depressing” Wiltshire town on the list of worst places in the UK▸ .
Melksham has found itself, alongside Trowbridge, on town review site ILiveHere.com’s 2024 list of 153 nominees for the “most depressing” place to live in the UK.
The town was nominated after a searing review by a resident labelled it a “boring, decaying, grimy and downright depressing hovel.”
They added: “Melksham is sadly another example of how decades of decline and social issues have transformed many Wiltshire towns into rundown relics of a bygone era.
“The town has never been the nicest place to live, but the past decade has seen a steady decline in appearance, with the town centre resembling a dying mess of salons, barbers, kebab shops, antique dealers, and the obligatory pound shops.
“Do not visit this place at all, there is nothing of the slightest interest here.”

Gus was a highlight of my childhood visits to Grandma's. She lived in a part of Taunton that got Westward/TSW from Stockland Hill transmitter rather than HTV West from Mendip.
But it made you appear a genius when University Challenge was shown at different times on the two channels and you seemed to know all the answers second time round.
