There was which caused disruption from late morning to mid-afternoon. A number of the Oxford to/from Paddington services which didn't run from/to the north Cotswolds were cancelled but the two quoted were the only Cotswold cancellations.

As previously reported the 0523 Hereford to London Paddington was cancelled between Worcester Shrub Hill and London Paddington due to a problem with the traction equipment (MD). As a result, the 0643 Worcester Shrub Hill to London Paddington was 52 minutes late by the time it hit Oxford and 56 late into Paddington; the 0700 Worcester Shrub Hill to Didcot Parkway was terminated at Oxford arriving 42 minutes late; and the 0713 Great Malvern to London Paddington was 34 minutes late at Oxford and 36 late to Paddington.

As a result, the following services have been significantly delayed. The short-formed 06:43 Worcester Shrub Hill to London Paddington which will be picking up the displaced passengers is currently running 47 minutes late.
