06:48 Bristol Temple Meads to Penzance due 11:24
This train has been cancelled. This is due to a train fault.

Interesting as the line is closed Teignmouth to Plymouth all day for engineering work. On the subject of engineering work the Newquay branch is shut Monday to Friday this coming week, not that anyone wants to tell you that....

And don't bother looking for a revised timetable for this weekend's engineering work between Teignmouth and Plymouth either as there isnt one either online, booklet or poster just as there hasn't been these past few weeks whilst the line has been closed at weekends between Exeter and Plymouth. If it was known that this engineering work was taking place, why didnt FGW (First Great Western) publish it when they reprinted all their timetables a few weeks back?

Incidently, none of the new timetables starting December 9th show weekend services where services are revised due to engineering work, just a general weekend timetable with a note at the bottom of each page to check the website before travelling. But they still don't put revised timetables on the website like they used to so there is little point.

Why cant they put revised timetables online like GNER (Great North Eastern Railways) who have them upto the end of February on their website!?!? Is it that difficult? After all they have to be made up for train crew so they know whats running and when so why not publish them for the public?

Unfortunately, even train crew can turn up for duty on the day and not be given any ammendments, even though they themselves have known for x amount of time ahead that there is engineering! Not surprised there is nothing online Sad

A 158 was on a Teignmouth shuttle today, luxury. Of note, there were 7 142s that I counted in Exeter TMD (Traction Maintenance Depot), one had a First Great Western sticker!
