All I can tell you is that all four lines are bi-directional (I can tell that from the signalling equipment in the 4ft - sad I know) and that the outer two lines look like loops off the main line (but are most certainly not the loops at Yatton or the loop at Highbridge) Roll Eyes Wink  My best guess is Lincoln Central..........

Edit: Yes its Lincoln Central https://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/a/a2/Lincoln_Central_railway_station_MMB_12_153308_153357.jpg&imgrefurl=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lincoln_Central_railway_station&h=2496&w=3820&tbnid=ypnEYKwKAfmiCM&tbnh=181&tbnw=278&usg=__BKwfHmbNRLwM_he-oECBz-OWiGo=&docid=GDRwRwvbnpf8PM

I clocked Lincoln masquerading as flooding near Botley just over two years ago, in post 196 of this thread.

And from a circular put out by Worcester's MP (Member of Parliament), Robin Walker, we learn the trick about how to speed up services to London...

I do wonder if that is a pic of Worcester Park station looking towards London. If there was a Google RailView then I could be more confident.

But there is - look at the station pictures in the plan on National Rail.

Ah, I see now that it definitely is Worcester Park! As you say clicking on the image of a seat on Platform 1 on the following link and then clicking again on the resulting image brings up a larger image which is the same view that the MP had in his letter.

Headline from the Croydon Advertiser:

Quote
London mayoral candidate Sadiq Khan lobbying for TfL» (Transport for London - about) monotony on commuter trains

By Croydon Advertiser  |  Posted: March 27, 2016
By Polly Albany-Ward polly.albany-ward@croydonadvertiser.co.uk

Was there a completely irrelevant picture? Well, there was one of Sadiq Khan, and it's hard to see how it could really match that headline.

William Huskisson MP (Member of Parliament) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: stop, look, listen.

"Level crossings are safe, unless they are used in an unsafe manner."  Discuss.

This is brilliant.  The MP's poor researcher - Worcestershire Parkway - Worcester Park!
