As my regular readers will know, I do tend to scour the local press for items of (hopefully) some interest, and I'm generally fairly relaxed about the standard of journalism I find - unless it's glaringly wrong.
Here's an example, from
This is the West Country:
UPDATE: Train delays at Bridgwater station clearedstock imageTrains are running normally between Bristol Temple Meads and Taunton after a broken down train in Bridgwater caused delays of up to one hour.
The train was stuck on the Bridgwater line, but it has now been cleared. Keep up-to-date with the Twitter hashtag #Bridgwater.
Services affected included; Cheltenham Spa, Bristol Parkway, Bristol Temple Meads, Bridgwater, Taunton, Tiverton Parkway and Exeter St Davids; also Cardiff Central, Newport, Patchway, Bristol Temple Meads, Nailsea and Blackwell, Yatton, Worle, Weston-super-Mare, Bridgwater and Taunton.
To be fair, it's described as a 'stock image' - but then, why use it at all? It certainly isn't Bridgwater station: actually, where is it?
(and it's Nailsea & Backwell, not Blackwell ... )
