We wish we'd asked the name of the highly professional and helpful guard who worked the 3.45 Paddington-Swansea service on Tuesday 4 December 2007. Neither of us had encountered such impressive service, including the immediate announcement of information about delays, and offering to help travellers before being asked. He should be given charge of staff training. Wonderful stuff.

prehaps you should contact FGW (First Great Western) Customer services and give them the information about your journey so the particular member of staff can be informed of your gratitude because by and large most people are all to quick to moan about the smallest things but are not to forthcoming with positive comments.
