I'm not travelling today ... but if I was, I would be scratching my head just a little if I tried to travel around in the Bath - Chippenham - Swindon area.   Do you notice the odd contradiction here ...

Quote
08:15 Bristol Temple Meads to London Paddington due 09:58
This train will be delayed at Swindon but is expected to be on time at Reading.
This train will be diverted between Bristol Temple Meads and Reading.
This train will call additionally at Bath Spa.
This train will no longer call at Swindon and Didcot Parkway.
This is due to over-running engineering works.

Quote
08:40 Chippenham to Bristol Temple Meads due 09:39
This train is being delayed at Swindon and is now expected to be 21 minutes late.
This train has started from Swindon.
This train will call additionally outward at Swindon.
This is due to over-running engineering works.

Quote
08:40 Chippenham to Swindon due 08:53
An additional train service has been planned to operate as shown 19/05/13 08:40 Chippenham to Swindon due 08:53.
This is due to over-running engineering works.

Actually, I've a lot of sympathy for people who write (and feed) information systems dynamically.   They're doing what they can in what's a changing situation (THANK YOU to any of those people if they're reading this), using tools which I'm sure will improve dramatically over the next 10 years.
