From the FGW (First Great Western) website :

Train services between Redhill and Gatwick Airport are being disrupted due to a broken rail. Engineers are working as fast as possible to restore services to normal. Short notice alterations can be expected.

Train services from Reading to Gatwick are terminating at Redhill for the rest of the day, customers travelling to Gatwick are advised to change at Redhill for an alternative service.Customers travelling from Gatwick to Reading are advised to use alternative services from Gatwick to Redhill.

What proportion of users on this line stay on the train all the way to Gatwick?
