Trying to get the 07:02 Westbury-Cheltenham Spa from Westbury every morning is always interesting.
Passengers and staff rarely know what platform it's going to go from, it's usually late and more recently confusion has been increased by having 3 separate trains all on the one platform. Take this morning, we all got on one at the front which said Cheltenham Spa on it, but after 5 minutes we were asked to get off as it was actually going into sidings and not to C Spa after all. Then we had to wait for a conductor coming from Gloucester who had been asked to do the return journey - now that's really annoying because it means we couldn't be anything over than late as the Gloucester-Westbury train is timetabled to get in after we've left.
One has to ask why do they bother to advertise it as the 7:02 when it plainly isn't. Even if extra time is built in to the timetabling to enable it to get to it's destination on time, twice this week we've arrived in Swindon over 25 minutes late.

Let's face it Ruth - the TransWilts service is far less important to FGW (First Great Western) than all the other trains buzzing around Wetsbury and carrying lucrative hordes to London from the West Country via Westbury ... and lucrative hordes from Bristol and South Wales via Swindon.  So this is their "Cinderalla" service.

As I recall, Cinderalla ended up becoming a princess.  Continue to watch this space  Grin ... things are starting to move forward in the new year now. Keep logging the issues; they're noted much more than you thing and FGW do realise that Cinderalla is working away in the kitchen.  They see much merit in her too.
