Unsure if they're being done in canton or not, but i saw what looked like 2 empty fgw 143's towards cardiff central, in the direction of canton

unless of course they're being use for Taunton > Cardiff

Could be on Taunton-Cardiff. They have been recently.
They are going to be refurbished aswell but I thought they were following 150's through and I doubt that FGW (First Great Western) would put two out-of-service at once.

143's were diagrammed on some Taunton-Cardiff services in the original draft December 2007 timetable, although several things have changed since that was published.

they are definatly not going for refurb.

143's are being done once the 150 programme is finished and they are going to pullman in cardiff aswell.

they were probably on taunton-cardiff service fgw use whatever stock they have regardless of what class of unit is diagrammed for it.
