10:58 Penzance to London Paddington due 16:21

This train will be delayed between St Erth and Camborne and is expected to be 3 minutes late.
This train will be diverted between St Erth and Camborne.
This train will call additionally at Hayle, Par, Lostwithiel and Saltash.
This is due to a train fault.

I do love some of the messages that come up on fgw journey check I know the line reasonably well in cornwall as I live there. But how can the train be diverted between st erth and Camborne there is only one line up and one line down. I'm guessing its a typo or something like that!

The 1037 penzance to plymouth all stops is cancelled, which explains the extra stops.

Interested to know which route it diverts, up the A30?  Grin , unless it's running wrong line for whatever reason.

Hmm I thought it could be the wrong line but they took out the crossover at Camborne a few years ago so that scupperd that idea so if there is a problem on one of the lines in that area the crossovers would have to be truro or st Erth

Thanks for posting that interesting question, Palfers - and may I offer you a warm welcome to the Coffee Shop forum.  CfN.  Smiley

William Huskisson MP (Member of Parliament) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: stop, look, listen.
