I haven't seen it mentioned yet, but forgive me if I've missed it. Tomorrow 14th April 2015 Chris Loder, head of business projects South West Trains is giving a presentation at the Cheese and Grain, Frome from 5.30 - 6.30 p.m. to discuss the proposed via Frome services and to answer questions.

Is that 'woe' as in 'West of England' or 'woe' as in 'tales of ...'  Tongue Roll Eyes Wink

Tales of west of England 😀, one question I am going to ask is if a new via Salisbury ticket will be introduced from castle Cary and Bruton, one exists from frome and the price difference is quite substantial so potential for a bit of competition as well as service improvements and new direct services/improved connections.... More details here

As a regular user of Freedom of Severn and Solent Rovers, to go to both Axminster and Dorchester (amongst other places) I wonder if the rover ticket will cover Yeovil Pen Mill to Yeovil Junction section, because it's not shown on the current map and it will be a bit of a pain to still have to go via Salisbury to get to Axminster. However, I suppose I could ask tomorrow evening!

The logical thing to do is for SWT (South West Trains) to extend the 'via Warminster/Salisbury' routed fares to include Frome, Bruton,  Castle Cary and Yeovil Pen Mill.

Presumably this is a briefing, rather than a consultation, because the consultation has already closed.

I'm not sure if Alan was referring solely to the presentation not being mentioned yet, but the services were originally discussed in the SWT (South West Trains) sub-forum here:  http://www.firstgreatwestern.info/coffeeshop/index.php?topic=15428.0

Yes Paul, I was only referring to the presentation.
