Hmm. Fair play to the chap representing Isambard Kingdom Brunel - but wasn't he about a foot shorter - just over five foot tall - that's why he chose to wear those high stovepipe hats to, err, raise his profile?  |

As Graham says very well organised and a nice friendly spirit among those walking over, all taking care to avoid being in other people's shots while pictures were being taken.
An unforgettable experience.
Agree completely. Really good organisation. I'd suggest that Network Rail employ Saltash Lions Club to manage the electrification. Meanwhile, here's some pictures of the check-in at Saltash Station, of Network Rail's Tim giving the 06:50 group their health and safety briefing, and of them setting off. |

... and from the position of the nameplate, the normal lie of the points leads to the left. Normally closed blade is nearest to the plate.
