I wasn't sure which section to post this in. It also makes reference to jacking up the bridge for the purposes of electrification.

A comment on that article by someone identifying themselves as disabled.

(s)he says that (s)he doesn't see any realistic way even in the 21st century to make the station accessible and instead (s)he prefers to go to the Reading Mainline station.

So it appears some people still live in the real world.

William Huskisson MP (Member of Parliament) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: stop, look, listen.

Upgrade at Reading West still going ahead (using some of the failed East MRT project money), however no lifts to be included.
