Wales OnlineThe Grade II-listed Old Bute Road Railway Station
Grade II* actualy, I think. Cardiff Central station, which is grade II, may not be on the top ten, but also
seems to be significantly 'at risk' to me.
It has always struck me that the Cardiff Bay shuttle would be a prime candidate for conversion to a tram.
Along with the Coryton line, I agree. The rest of the ValleyLines network though I think should probably remain heavy rail, which raises the problem of how you get the tram from Heath to central Cardiff. Street running seems the obvious solution, which would also give a direct link between the Cardiff Bay and Central station, but it is possibly quite a long way for a fledgeing tram scheme.
