Went on the Medway Valley Line yesterday, for a nice little day out. The PAddock Wood end of the line is quite recomended for a little jolly out.

Here's the snaps - which include lots of station shots.

CANBER▸ (Campaign Against the New Beeching Report) is quite interested in this line, as the SRA» (Strategic Rail Authority - about) proposed the closure of Beltring station. However, the DfT» (Department for Transport - about) have since informed me that this will not be taken forward for now.

Looks like Custom House, the platforms being part of the North London Line's disused North Woolwich Branch.

Well done Jim I think your contributions and the other members who post topics not related to FGW▸ (First Great Western) directly are of great interest to the members of the forum that share a  general interest in the rail way world , I for one who have always been connected to the railways in one way or another have found the forum a very good source of information and have discovered many things that  have always intrigued  me for
years and that the suggestion by Grahame that an addition travel section is a very good one because of the vast source of information shown in the forum generally could not fail to make it a success.
