Network Rail are doing some emergency engineering work tomorrow (Sunday 25th June) in Patchway Tunnel.

Services to and from South Wales will operate via Stroud, Gloucester and Chepstow.  Some services from Wales will leave earlier to maintain on time arrivals in England, while those heading west will arrive in Wales later than published.

Some Golden Valley services will be retimed to make room for the extra trains using that route.

Some HSTs (High Speed Train) to and from Bristol Temple Meads will be extended to and from Bristol Parkway.

Seem to have done a good job of putting the plans and information together.   Just one query

Replacement buses will run between Bristol Parkway and Filton Abbey Wood.

This will connect with the Cardiff shuttle train for customers travelling between South Wales and Bristol Parkway.

I'm suspecting a slip up between Parkway and Patchway?

Alterations to services between Newport South Wales and Swindon

Due to engineering works not being finished on time between Newport South Wales and Swindon the line towards Swindon is closed.

Train services running through these stations may be delayed or diverted via Gloucester. Disruption is expected until 07:15 26/06.

Further Information

The first few services from South Wales to London this morning will be diverted via (and call additionally at) Gloucester and will not call at Bristol Parkway.
