Have YOU met from your past on the tube ... or on another journey?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-41050130

Quote
Two former Blind Date contestants have had an unexpected reunion on a London Tube train - 25 years on.

Howard Griffiths could not believe it when Brigette Bard approached him to ask if he was the man who had picked her on the ITV show hosted by Cilla Black in October 1992.

A deep, deep breath.  And a memory back to around to a first girlfriend (from a post family and with the inevitable parents who felt I wasn't good enough for her), encountered four years later in the long sloping approach tunnel to London Bridge platforms 1 and 2.   Yes, a spark was rekindled with her away from home and training as a nurse; I remember catching the 00:20 home from Blackfriars on numerous occasions after nights out in London.   Alas, I really wasn't keen on the secret element (her parents didn't know we had picked up and couldn't be in touch when she was home in Sevenoaks from the London teaching hospital she had 'digs' in while on shift; broke up when I insisted that she not live a lie.   Still wonder what happened to her; probably neither of us was really ready to pair up for life.  But if your parents number was 57453 and you were heiress to a tea plantation in India ... I couldn't have cared less about that!

Not the only chance meeting I've had ... but that's the one that was the most vivid ...
