I think Sheffield Park may be the terminus of a little-known twopenny-ha'penny heritage line in Surrey, or Sussex, or somewhere like that.

Mendip Vale on the East Somerset Rly.

I went there too, but the photo is Cranmore.

I went with fellow forum member Palfers and another friend.
We all agreed what good value for money the railway is. Open access to the engine shed and workshop, and signal box and along the side of the sidings. The volunteers manning the signal box gave us a great explanation how it all worked (it’s disconnected now).
