Well, a couple of modest improvements anyway, before the widescale introduction of IETs throughout the year:

On weekdays, the 08:21 PAD-HFD and return 12:09 HFD-PAD revert back to being a HST after becoming a Turbo a couple of years ago.  And on Sunday's a real bonus is an earlier London train from Worcester Shrub Hill at 08:39, meaning an 09:50 arrival at Oxford and 11:05 arrival at London are now possible on Sunday mornings - the current service means you can't arrive in London before midday.  It uses the Turbo that used to come back at 10:29 though, so it means a near 2-hour gap from 09:40 to 11:30, but until very recently that gap has been the case on Sunday mornings anyway.

Does the 'jam' include the provision of more reliable staffing to run these services on a Sunday?
