07:04 Westbury to Cheltenham Spa due 09:05
07:04 Westbury to Cheltenham Spa due 09:05 has been cancelled.
This is due to a fault on this train.

Following train ...

Code:
Westbury 3 0733 0734 1m late
Trowbridge 1 0739 0739 0741 0743 4m late
Melksham 1 0748 0749 0751 0752 3m late
Chippenham 2 0759 0800 0831 0834 34m late
Swindon 2 0815 0902 47m late

So passengers due into Swindon on the 07:04 (at 07:48) eventually got there at 09:02 .... not a clever morning.

With the 08:30 replaced by a bus / connection failing at Chippenham (1 hour 39 minute journey Melksham to Swindon v 28 minutes)  we have a first train service at 12:30.   I wonder if the bus that fails to make the connection off the 08:30 is being kept on to run a rail replacement for the 10:30 ... no comment on Journey Check about passenger alternatives, I note.

Mind you ... not totally sure what's going on. Real Time Trains shows it as still running but very late indeed, and the return working having left Swindon just one minute late ... that will be the first train of the day to call at Melksham!   Not sure where the return working appeared from - they've not started turning out new trains from the shops in Swindon again have they?

It's not the same set booked to return from Swindon. The units on the Golden Valley and Trans Wilts are booked to swap over, although today the unit came empty from Bristol.

It's so they can change over the Yate turn rounds to go back to the Marsh due to the Bristol Parkway blockages
