Elements of the role remain with Bus Users.   ChrisB - you know David R and see him quite often?   He's one of the directors of Bus Users and could fill you in.

My addition would be a different sort of scenic; White Bus service 01 from Windsor to Ascot, via Windsor Great park

I'm surprised that none of the routes from Bath out into the near countryside are listed. I often use the 267 from Bath to Frome, and the scenery around Midford is superb, as well as passing through some lovely villages like Norton St Philip with its historic pub. It used to be an even more lovely route until the diversion into Rode was withdrawn.

And the winner is..... the 840 coastliner from Leeds to Whitby.

Looks like the Purbeck Breezer 50 came 3rd.

As a sideline I am intrigued the front display. "Departs in x minutes". I have never seen that on a bus before.
