Got excited to read GWR (Great Western Railway) offering booking up to 6 months ahead for certain journeys. Put in August booking for Sleeper to discover GWR.com version does not cope with Sleeper tickets very well, went on mixing desk version to find it will not roll beyond June ! Looks like it's back to the good old fashioned ticket office then.  Roll Eyes

Just wondering if anyone can shed any light on why there seem to be no sensible advance tickets available yet for w/c 9 July 2018 on the PNZ - PAD» (Paddington (London) - next trains) route ?

Have been buying advance singles LOS - PAD on the 1714 Thursday at around the £ 25 mark for a couple of years now as soon as they are released, but fares at this level seem to have dropped off the radar.

GWR (Great Western Railway) helpline unable to help.

Cheers

I don't know for sure, but I would suspect it's related to the Newbury electrification works; revised schedules for that week don't appear to have been uploaded to the system yet.
