Not a lot to go on.

I'll take a wild stab at Flax Bourton.

Not a lot to go on.

Are you talking about GWR (Great Western Railway) trains again ?

It's not Flax Bourton.  The track alignment and foliage is all wrong.  Wink

William Huskisson MP (Member of Parliament) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: stop, look, listen.

Standing on a rail overbridge looking down on a double track railway line currently not being electrified but within GWR (Great Western Railway) territory possibly the Golden Valley line between Stroud and Kemble.

It is GWR (Great Western Railway) but not Flax Bourton or the Stroud Valleys Line. It is actually a rather well known place. Imagine a hot June day, weeds on a platform, a blackbird singing ...

Yes, it's Adlestrop. The old station building is just off to the left behind the trees. I think it was double tracked a couple of years ago, wasn't it?

Moreton-in-Marsh to Ascott-under-Wychwood was not singled back in 1971 when most of the Wolvercot Jcn - Norton Jcn line suffered that fate.  So not recently re-doubled, no.

Amazing to find that the re-doubled bit between Moreton-in-Marsh and Evesham happened in 2011 - already seven years ago.

Here's another. Yesterday I was near a defunct railway bridge, also in GWR (Great Western Railway) territory, a branch from a line that still operates:
