Seaside miniature railway proves it's not immune to rail strikes… as more than 40 volunteers walkout in row with new managers

* The Dorset tourist attraction is losing thousands of pounds in tourism trade
* Forty volunteers walked out in April after disputes with the new management

Hmm.  Roll Eyes

Reading through the whole of that particular Daily Mail article (and I did, purely in the interests of our membership Wink ), it seems there is rather more to this story than it appears from their headlines.

I really hope that the wider issues can be resolved, and that the Poole Park Railway can then reopen as soon as possible.  Lips sealed

William Huskisson MP (Member of Parliament) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: stop, look, listen.

"Level crossings are safe, unless they are used in an unsafe manner."  Discuss.
