06:00 Penzance to Exeter St Davids due 09:16 will be started from Plymouth.
It will no longer call at Penzance, St Erth, Hayle, Camborne, Redruth, Truro, St Austell, Par, Lostwithiel, Bodmin Parkway, Liskeard, Menheniot, St Germans, Saltash, St Budeaux Ferry Road, Keyham, Dockyard and Devonport.
This is due to a shortage of train crew.
Additional Information
Cancellation as a result of alterations yesterday (Sunday 17th) causing a shortage of available trains in Penzance for the start of today's service.

07:03 London Paddington to Paignton due 10:11
07:03 London Paddington to Paignton due 10:11 will be started from Newton Abbot.
It will no longer call at London Paddington, Reading, Newbury, Pewsey, Westbury, Taunton, Tiverton Parkway and Exeter St Davids.
This is due to a shortage of train crew.
Additional Information
Cancellation as a result of alterations yesterday (Sunday 17th) causing a shortage of available trains in London for the start of today's service.

Two nice ones to cancel. The 06:00 off Penzance (is that still scheduled to be the castle) is a really heavy loader with people coming in to Devonport and Plymouth for education - the part of the route that's been cut.  And the first westbound train from Pewsey this morning will now almost be this afternoon!

BUT GWR (Great Western Railway) are contradicting themselves for first of all stating shortage of train crew for both these cancellations and latterly stating a shortage of available trains in Penzance and London, which is it, shortage of trains or shortage of train crew in Plymouth and Newton Abbot  Undecided

Interesting that there's no extra call at Menheniot, where the 06:00 picks up a considerable traffic ... I was gobsmacked when I saw those crowds at what I had considered to be a little rural station, and I suspect it's the busiest train of the day there for joiners by a country mile.
