11:11 Westbury to Southampton Central due 12:17
11:11 Westbury to Southampton Central due 12:17 will be terminated at Romsey.
It will no longer call at Southampton Central.
It has been delayed at Warminster and is now 30 minutes late.
This is due to passengers causing a disturbance on this train.

And I thought that everyone was so peaceful in Wiltshire!

As the "boat train" connecting the West of England to Southampton, I do home their are not to many cruise passenger with lots if luggage having to drop back to the Portsmouth train at Romsey.

Or was it a disturbance at Warminster station itself?

Looks like a right shambles ... quarter of an hour at Dilton Marsh.

Forget my earlier comments about passengers from the West Country and baggage at Romsey ... the train from Plymouth was late into Westbury anyway, so the 11:11 would have been carrying fresh air ...

Perhaps the Moonrakers were upset because they had ensnared a real cheese, instead of the French brandy.......

All joking aside, the guard on the 09:30 Cardiff to Portsmouth service was assaulted at Warminster by two assailants. Another passenger was also assaulted.

Makes me cross when I hear that someone can’t do their job without the risk of this happening and yes it’s happening all too often with the penalty all too lenient.
