I saw that set pass me at Dawlish this morning. I was just getting out of the car, parked by the Marine Tavern, as it exited Kennaway Tunnel. Wasn't quick enough to grab a pic.

I did bag 'Harry Patch' a little later. Hopefully this power car (43172 - staying with GWR▸ (Great Western Railway)) will be put to appropriate use on Remembrance Sunday/Armistice Day, 11th November 2018. 100 years since the cessation of hostilities in the First World War.

Love it ... and there is now room at Melksham for it to be fully platformed. But it couldn't cope with the passenger numbers these days.

Bet it's acceleration is almost at IET▸ (Intercity Express Train) levels ;-)
