I am looking to get an idea of the coverage of journeys made by Coffee Shop members - can I please ask you to tell me where you might travel on GWR (Great Western Railway) and adjoining company's services more than just very rarely.  Please select all that apply.

I know it's very hard to group lines and stations together and know what constitutes "very rarely".   I have grouped journeys as per our boards ...

Thanks!

I have put my own vote in ... and straight away realise how difficult this is ... my own quite frequent journey from Melksham to Swansea ...

When Cheltenham goes hourly will you change the Swindon to Gloucester/Cheltenham forum area to London to Cheltenham consdiering 90% of the journeys will run the entire route?

May well do so with the board ...

Cheltenham to Swindon is already hourly ... just that alternate ones fade out at Swindon  Grin

Also looking at "South Wales local journeys" v "Transport for Wales" with local GWR (Great Western Railway) journeys perhaps switched.

We are a truly astonishing rail user partnership - overnight (12 hours from 18:23 last night to 06:23 this morning), no less than 40 of our members have not only read but already engaged in a poll, showing multiple members making use of every part of the GWR (Great Western Railway) network - and connecting operators too.

If you are a registered member and have not yet completed the poll, please do so - ((here)) .

If you are a guest at the Coffee Shop - especially if you are a regular reader [lurker] - please register ((here)) and add your 'vote'.

Many thanks, everyone ... we seem to have a pretty good spread of active voting members across GWR (Great Western Railway) 'land' ....

It doesn't tell us service by service, but Google Analytics lists London, Bristol, Exeter, Reading, Torquay, Oxford, Plymouth, Cardiff, Bath, Slough, Trowbridge, Gloucester, Worcester, Cheltenham, Taunton and Southampton in top 20 'cities' for visitors, who comprise the majority of Coffee Shop readers.

Over the past couple of weeks, I have written up and shared with admins, moderators, and frequent posters plans to submit a CCIF (Customer and Communities Improvement Fund) bid for 2019/20 for a grant to help move the forum - now over a decade old - onto a structure that will secure what it does (and let it do more, better, more modern) for the next decade.   The form of that structure to be decided by setting up a constitution (already signposted) early next year, the funding to enable us to jump over the hurdle and set up that sustainable structure.   Huge thank you to everyone who's helped behind the counter and in frequent posters - I have a count of some 20 names who have interacted with the threads which helps me feel informed and supported as I put the submission in - see the main supporting document at  http://gwr.passenger.chat/ccif_cs.pdf if you fancy a dry read  Grin
