With regards to the track layout, if you look at Google Earth satellite image you can clearly see what the Crossrail depot track layout is. This image must have been from about July 2018.

The berths and position lights on the signalling maps do not correlate with what is physically on the ground.

The track layout shown on Traksy is wrong between Ladbroke Grove and Old Oak Common, whereas the Open Train Times layout is correct. The only error I can see on the OTT (Open Train Times website) Paddington map is at Royal Oak, where signal-berths 52 and 54 are the wrong way round and the crossover into line 1 is in the wrong place - it should connect prior to signal 026 and not after (Traksy is right on this).

This name plate will be living in Reading Train Care Facility, it was the choice of the last GWR (Great Western Railway) staff at OOC (Old Oak Common (depot)) that it should go there.

Images of how HS2 (The next High Speed line(s)) are progressing, also what the site will eventually look like, think it has been posted before, https://www.constructionnews.co.uk/projects/project-reports/hs2s-old-oak-common-station-how-to-build-a-mega-project/10038107.article?fbclid=IwAR0wRehDHeIHiBw0nQr0WMc3Nety85f4-DYHE3bifaZ0Ynw-XgAIk-GAHYw

For those who use Facebook. A musical tribute to 81A Old Oak Common with some excellent footage of the depot, staff and the final HST (High Speed Train).

Absolutely top notch.  The video just goes to show, for all of us who have worked at Old Oak, it was more than just a place of work. I miss that place, always will do

This is rubbish, it showed unavailable, clicking on the button, just gave me a video of hs2. Buildings coming down.

Now working.

Take a look up thread - there's a link to the video and an explanation of why it's been changed.

One of the issues of any web site, including this forum, that links to outside resources is that the outside resources cease to be available.  It's a risk people who post take, and I'm delighted that they do - otherwise our forum would be all the much the poorer.  A "thank you" to original posters where, as in the case of this thread, they have explained the change and done their best to ensure the resource can still be reached via the forum, even if it's no longer a direct link.

Since the closure of Old Oak the HST (High Speed Train) are coming from Reading train care depot and timetabled about an hour to get to Paddington. This seems incredibly inefficient. Does a special crew bring it to Paddington and then changed to the regular crew for the passenger part.  One of the trains I watch is IC91 which is now empty Reading- Paddington-Paignton-Newton Abbot-empty Laira.

I would have thought GWR (Great Western Railway) would run these in passenger use if they are run in the morning/evening peaks to relieve overcrowding and reduce 'dead mileage'.

I would suspect they're running in the wrong direction - out of London to Reading towards the end of the morning peak, and back into London late in the afternoon.

And you’d need to roster a Train Manager, and it’s only going to be happening for a short period of time anyway.

Looking today 1D91 (Didcot) definitely came from reading as well as 5D91 and 1C91 (Paignton) came as 3C91 from reading I presume.

I've noticed before when 1C91 has come early as 5C91 and waits for time in Royal Oak sidings.

Was that a HST (High Speed Train) today? Pathed as an EMU (Electric Multiple Unit).

But 1D91 is an EMU (Electric Multiple Unit) (387).

According to opentrains it was running late into platform 1 and reversed out within 5 minutes to Didcot. I do not know what stock it was.
