I'm certain 16.1 is Plymouth too. The canopy ironwork is still the same today.

Thanks ... I have pictures of Santa spinning in front of my eyes this evening (why) and got confused.

You're lucky. I am temporarily dyslexic, and have Satan spinning in front of mine. I would go with Bridgwater for 16.3 though - the hoist where the fizzy-bang magic moonbeam fuel leftover flasks are loaded for the long trip north.

I took it to be a species of refreshment trolley (for use on platforms).

Agreed.  I've seen those in other WR photographs of that era (late 1950s/early 1960s).
