22.2 Herras fencing and shipping container in the background suggests very recently
22.1-2 Porthmadoc 2016

Portmadoc or Porthmadog, yes.  Not far out in the year, but I note my camera's geo location was turned off so I have nothing showing up when I look for picture in the Portmadoc area ... 2016 sound close, though.

I have a photo somewhere - still looking - of Lyd steaming through Minffordd station around that time. Was very surprised to discover a L&B engine when I was expecting a Fairlie !

Yes, but I expect all those remote places need/justify only one service a day.....

I have ... noted, I think it may have been on another thread, commend about how darned early on the day these advent quizzes have been posted, and how that's lead to the lark picking up the worms before the owls are even awake.  Noted, but for the one last day I've decided not to break the pattern.     Rumour has it that tomorrow is a specialty of some sort - and one where people don't even catch trains - so we'll see what if anything that brings and at what time of day ...

Monday 24th December 2018 - the Coffee Shop Advent Quiz.

24.1 - Where was this picture taken?

24.2 - And in which year?

24.3 Where was this picture taken?

24.4 Care to guess when it was taken?

First time I have ever been referred to as a lark!

Where I am right now, I would definitely be the night owl.

Anyway, I have a hunch about 24.1, but will leave it for when the British owls wake up.

Goodnight!
