A somewhat thinned out late afternoon / evening service Saturday 22 December from staff shortages. Following cancelled:

Oh dear, and this coming on a day when GWR (Great Western Railway) passengers are being encouraged to use Chiltern services due to Paddington being closed.

Maybe high levels of staff sickness aren’t just affecting XC (Cross Country Trains (franchise)).

No, suspect they,ve pulled sickies to do xmas shopping, why I could,nt move in Sainsburys.

…….absolutely - I refuse to believe that anyone in any job would ever pull a sickie at Christmas in respect of overindulgence, Christmas Shopping or other festive activity...………..now back in the real world I must nip out and feed the Unicorn!  Grin

I suggested that might be the cause as where I once worked, they were always doing it throughout the year,which was unfair on people that were really sick.
